Telek R'Mor was a Romulan scientist who made contact with Voyager through a micro-wormhole, only to be revealed as living twenty years in the past.
Telek R'Mor was a Romulan who commanded a research vessel studying a micro-wormhole from the Alpha Quadrant side. Initially suspicious of the Starfleet crew contacting him through a probe, he gradually warmed to them after Janeway spoke with him about his own family, who were far away on Romulus.
In Eye of the Needle, R'Mor even transported across to Voyager to test whether people could pass through the wormhole, before the crew discovered it connected to a time two decades earlier. He agreed to deliver their messages once Voyager had left the Alpha Quadrant, but Tuvok later found that he died years before that day came.
