The security chief of the long-lost USS Griffin, whose paranoia led her to beam most of the crew into space.
Lieutenant Rose Harper, played by Sorika Wolf, is the chief of security aboard the USS Griffin in The Griffin Incident. The Griffin vanished nine years earlier, and when James Kirk, Spock and La'an Noonien-Singh find it derelict, they begin seeing a suspicious woman walking its halls.
La'an watches Harper's video logs, which show her descent into paranoia, and realizes that Harper killed the crew by beaming them into empty space. After the Enterprise rescues the team, Division 12 tows the ship away, and La'an glimpses Harper behind a window.
