Razik was the Kazon-Ogla commander who planned to execute the young Kar and was killed by him instead.
Razik commanded a Kazon-Ogla vessel and was responsible for training the young warriors of his sect. After capturing Chakotay, he explained that Chakotay's mercy had disgraced Kar, and he scheduled the youth for execution as a lesson to the other Kazon boys.
In Initiations, Razik offered Chakotay a weapon to kill Kar, but Chakotay took him hostage instead and fled with Kar to a Kazon training moon. Razik later led Janeway's away team toward the pair, only to be shot by Kar, who earned his warrior name with the act. Razik's death left his second-in-command, Haliz, in charge.
