Persis is one of the Augments, the genetically enhanced children raised by Arik Soong from stolen embryos. In Borderland she is among the Augments who have seized a Klingon Bird-of-Prey, and she is close to their leader, Malik.
In Cold Station 12 she and Malik discuss whether to keep following Soong as he leads the Augments to steal hundreds more frozen embryos. Her divided loyalties reflect the tension between Soong and Malik that splits the Augments in The Augments. Persis was played by Abby Brammell.
