Orak is the prosecutor before the Klingon tribunal that tries Captain Archer in Judgment. Archer is charged with aiding rebels opposed to the Empire and with attacking a Klingon ship, and Orak calls Duras as his first witness to give a one-sided account of the clash.
Orak faces Archer's elderly advocate Kolos, who argues for the court's older ideals of law and honour. Despite Kolos's efforts, Archer is convicted and sentenced to the prison colony of Rura Penthe, from which Enterprise later rescues him.
