Klingon officer who hounded Jonathan Archer after being disgraced, until Enterprise destroyed his ship at the edge of the Delphic Expanse.
Duras, son of Toral, was a Klingon commander who failed to capture rebels whom Archer had helped, and was demoted to second weapons officer as a result. In Judgment, he testified against Archer before a Klingon tribunal, giving a biased account in which Archer fired first.
After Archer escaped from Rura Penthe, Duras regained command of a Bird-of-Prey and pursued Enterprise. In The Expanse, he attacked the ship in the clouds bordering the Delphic Expanse. His allies abandoned him, Travis Mayweather maneuvered Enterprise behind his ship where its shields were weakest, and torpedoes destroyed the Bird-of-Prey, killing him.
