Character Star Trek: Voyager

Odala

Voth minister

Odala was the Voth minister who prosecuted Forra Gegen for heresy and forced him to recant the Distant Origin theory.

Odala was a powerful minister among the Voth, responsible for defending the doctrine that her people had always lived in the Delta Quadrant. To her, the Distant Origin theory was a dangerous heresy that threatened the foundation of Voth society.
In Distant Origin, Odala presided over the trial of Forra Gegen, treating the outcome as settled from the start. She pressured his assistant Veer into testifying against him, dismissed Chakotay's arguments and held Voyager's crew captive. When Gegen recanted to protect them, she allowed Voyager to go free.
