A small alien engineer who served with Montgomery Scott at a remote outpost on Delta Vega and later in engineering aboard the Enterprise.
Keenser is a diminutive alien who works alongside Montgomery Scott at a Starfleet outpost on Delta Vega in the Kelvin timeline. When the stranded Kirk and the elder Spock arrive, Keenser watches as Scott and Kirk beam aboard the Enterprise at warp.
He goes on to serve in the Enterprise's engineering section, where he remains Scott's loyal assistant in Star Trek Into Darkness and Star Trek Beyond. Played by Deep Roy, he is a mostly silent presence whose expressions provide much of the films' comic relief.
