Son of a Klaestron war hero who tried to seize Jadzia Dax for a murder he believed Curzon Dax had committed.
Ilon Tandro is the son of General Ardelon Tandro, a revered hero of Klaestron IV. In Dax, he and his men attempt to abduct Jadzia Dax from Deep Space Nine, accusing the Dax symbiont of betraying his father to his enemies during a civil war when it was joined to Curzon Dax.
Because the kidnapping took place on what is technically Bajoran territory, Ilon is forced to accept an extradition hearing on the station. He argues that a symbiont must answer for the acts of its earlier hosts, but the case collapses when his mother, Enina, testifies that Curzon was with her on the night in question.
