Clar is an alien who brings the four ensigns before an apparent court, which turns out to be a party celebrating his rescue by the Cerritos.
Clar is the alien who summons Mariner, Boimler, Tendi and Rutherford in Veritas and demands that they testify about the mysterious actions of the Cerritos senior staff. The ensigns relate confused accounts of a standoff with the Clickets, the theft of a Romulan Bird of Prey and a covert mission to Romulus.
When Boimler accuses him of holding a drumhead trial, Clar explains that the gathering is actually a celebration of his rescue from Romulus by the Cerritos. He had only wanted to hear the story of how he was saved. He was voiced by Kurtwood Smith.
