Site-to-site transport

Beaming directly between two remote points

Site-to-site transport is a transporter operation that moves a subject directly from one location to another without first materializing them on the ship's transporter pad.

In a standard beam-out, the subject appears on a transporter platform before being sent elsewhere. Site-to-site transport skips that step, carrying a person straight from one point to another, such as from a planet's surface to sickbay or between two decks.
The technique demands more power and precision than an ordinary beam, so it is generally reserved for emergencies. Starfleet ships such as Voyager used it often to evacuate injured crew or move people quickly during crises.
