The Tiburonians are a humanoid species from the planet Tiburon. Little of their homeworld, government or culture has been shown on screen, and they are known mainly through one notorious individual.
In The Way to Eden, the Tiburonian Dr. Sevrin, a former research engineer in acoustics and electronics, led a group of young idealists who took over the Enterprise in their search for a fabled planet called Eden. Sevrin carried a dangerous disease, and his followers did not know it. The planet they found proved lethal, and Sevrin died after eating its poisonous fruit.
