An ancient people who survived the destruction of their world as disembodied minds stored in glowing receptacles, and briefly borrowed the bodies of Enterprise crew members.
Sargon's people had been a powerful civilization until a devastating war ruined their planet's surface. Only three minds survived, stored in sphere-shaped receptacles deep underground: Sargon, his wife Thalassa, and Henoch, who had fought on the other side.
In Return to Tomorrow, Sargon asked to borrow the bodies of Kirk, Spock and Dr. Ann Mulhall so the three could build android bodies of their own. Henoch, inside Spock, tried to keep his host and kill Sargon. Once Henoch was defeated, Sargon and Thalassa chose to leave existence together rather than live in borrowed forms.
