A Gamma Quadrant species from the planet Rakhar, known from Croden, a fugitive who hinted to Odo about the existence of other changelings.
The Rakhari are a humanoid people from Rakhar in the Gamma Quadrant, whose government harshly punishes political dissent. Their faces have distinctive ridged features.
In the episode Vortex, a Rakhari named Croden killed a Miradorn in Quark's bar and was taken into custody. He told Odo that he knew of changelings like him and offered to lead him to them. Odo was ordered to return Croden to Rakhar, where he faced execution, but he learned that Croden was a fugitive trying to protect his daughter, who was kept in stasis. Odo let them escape aboard a Vulcan ship, and the story foreshadowed Odo's later discovery of his own people.
