Daughter of the Rakhari fugitive Croden, hidden in stasis on an asteroid in the Chamra Vortex until her father could return for her.
Yareth is the young daughter of Croden, a Rakhari prisoner who stole aboard Deep Space Nine in Vortex. While Odo escorts Croden home through the Gamma Quadrant, Croden leads him into the Chamra Vortex with the promise of a colony of Changelings.
Instead, the shapeshifting stone Croden carries opens a chamber holding Yareth, whom he had placed in stasis to protect her from the government that killed most of their family. Moved by what he sees, Odo arranges for a Vulcan ship to take Croden and Yareth away rather than return them to Rakhar.
