Damaged ship of Tosk, the first known visitor from the Gamma Quadrant to reach Deep Space Nine, who had been bred as quarry for the Hunters.
Tosk's ship was a small vessel that came through the Bajoran wormhole damaged by weapons fire in Captive Pursuit. Its pilot, a reptilian being named Tosk, was the first known life form from the Gamma Quadrant to visit the station, and Miles O'Brien befriended him while helping with repairs.
Tosk was being pursued by the Hunters, a species who bred his kind to be hunted. When they boarded the station to claim him, Sisko felt bound to hand him over, but O'Brien quietly helped Tosk escape back to his ship so the hunt could continue on his own terms.
