A 23rd-century Starfleet starship class derived from the Miranda design, represented by the lost USS Bozeman.
The Soyuz-class was a Starfleet starship of the late 23rd century, closely related to the Miranda-class but fitted with additional equipment pods on its hull. It belongs to the same generation of ships that served in the era of the original Enterprise films.
The only Soyuz-class ship seen on screen is the USS Bozeman under Captain Morgan Bateson. The Bozeman became trapped in a temporal causality loop for about ninety years and emerged in 2368, colliding with the Enterprise-D in a loop of its own until Data sent a message to break the cycle.
