The Scorpion-class was a small Reman attack fighter carried aboard Shinzon's warbird Scimitar in 2379. The armed two-seat craft was stored in launch bays inside the larger ship.
In Star Trek: Nemesis, after Data rescued Picard from captivity aboard the Scimitar, the two needed a way off the ship. Data found the fighter in the Scimitar's database, and Picard flew a Scorpion through the hangar doors and out into space before bringing it down in a shuttlebay of the Enterprise-E.
