Warship of the Krenim Imperium, which grew from a weak patrol craft into a deadly enemy as Annorax's temporal incursions rewrote history during the Year of Hell.
Krenim warships patrolled the space of the Krenim Imperium in the Delta Quadrant. When Voyager first entered their territory in Year of Hell, a small Krenim destroyer ordered it to leave, but its weapons could barely touch Voyager's shields.
Everything changed when a temporal incursion swept through the region. Annorax's weapon ship erased the Zahl from history, and in the new timeline the Krenim warship was bigger and far more powerful, while Voyager was reduced to a battered wreck. Krenim chroniton torpedoes could pass through shields, and Voyager spent months being worn down by them.
The Krenim had appeared earlier in Before and After, where Kes's journey backwards through her life revealed a timeline in which Krenim chroniton weapons had harmed Voyager. The Year of Hell ended when the weapon ship was destroyed and history was restored, leaving Voyager to pass through Krenim space safely.
