Klingon cruiser sent to intercept the sleeper ship T'Ong in 2365, which could not arrive before the ship reached Federation space.
The P'Rang was a Klingon cruiser of the 2360s. In 2365 the Klingon High Command dispatched it to intercept the T'Ong, a sleeper ship whose crew had been in suspended animation since the days of war with the Federation and would wake believing that the war was still going on.
In The Emissary, it was clear that the P'Rang could not reach the T'Ong before it entered Federation space, so the Enterprise-D was given the task instead, with the special emissary K'Ehleyr aboard. Worf and K'Ehleyr eventually persuaded the T'Ong's captain, K'Temoc, to stand down without a fight.
