Mysterious automated station that repaired Enterprise in Dead Stop while secretly abducting Travis Mayweather to use his brain as part of its computer.
The automated repair station was a facility that Enterprise reached after being badly damaged by a Romulan mine in Dead Stop. It scanned the ship, reconfigured itself to suit a human crew, and offered to complete months of repairs in little more than a day in exchange for warp plasma.
Archer suspected the price was too good, and his fears were confirmed when Mayweather was apparently killed. The station had faked his death and wired him, along with members of other species, into its computer network. Archer rescued him and Enterprise destroyed the station, but its debris began reassembling as Enterprise departed.
