The Vulcan city where Spock grew up, seen in Yesteryear when he travels back in time to his own childhood.
ShiKahr is a city on Vulcan and the home of Sarek, Amanda Grayson and their son Spock. In the animated episode Yesteryear, Spock travels through the Guardian of Forever to ShiKahr in his own childhood, posing as a distant cousin named Selek, so that he can save his younger self during the kahs-wan survival ordeal in the desert nearby.
The city also appears in the background of the remastered version of Amok Time, and a starship named after it appears in Deep Space Nine.
