A remote Federation subspace relay station near the Klingon border where Aquiel Uhnari was posted.
Relay Station 47 is a small subspace communications relay near the Klingon border, staffed by only a couple of officers at a time. It sits far from other Federation facilities and receives occasional supply visits.
In Aquiel, the Enterprise arrives on a routine resupply mission and finds the station empty except for Aquiel Uhnari's dog. The crew believes Aquiel and Lieutenant Rocha are dead, until Aquiel turns up alive and the investigation uncovers a coalescent organism.
