A planet where Miles O'Brien goes missing while looking for Morica Bilby, drawing Ezri Dax back to her family.
New Sydney is the planet where Miles O'Brien disappears in Prodigal Daughter while searching for Morica Bilby, the widow of the Orion Syndicate man he befriended. Because Ezri Dax's family, the Tigans, run a mining operation nearby, she is sent to find him.
The local police return O'Brien to the Tigan home after a run-in with the Syndicate, and his inquiries into Morica's murder end up exposing the secrets of Ezri's own family.
