A barren desert moon in the Pentarus system where Picard, Wesley Crusher and Dirgo were stranded after a shuttle crash.
Lambda Paz is a hot, arid moon orbiting a gas giant in the Pentarus system. Its surface offers little shelter, but caves in its hills contain an ancient automated fountain protected by a crystalline force field that responds to any attack.
In Final Mission, Dirgo's shuttle crash-lands on the moon with Picard and Wesley Crusher aboard. Dirgo's attempts to force the fountain's defenses cost him his life and leave Picard gravely hurt, and Wesley must care for the captain until the Enterprise can return from Gamilon V to rescue them.
