Halem'no is the planet visited in Whistlespeak. A Denobulan weather tower, concealed as a mountain, holds off deadly sandstorms and provides rain for the Halem'nites, a pre-warp society protected by the Prime Directive, and the next clue to the Progenitors' technology is hidden inside.
Michael Burnham and Sylvia Tilly join the Halem'nites in disguise. Tilly wins a race to gain access to the tower alongside the local Ravah, and the winners are locked inside as sacrifices, so Burnham breaks the Prime Directive to show the people that the tower is technology requiring no sacrifice.
