Daled IV is a planet divided between two warring factions, whose young heir Salia was raised in exile to unite them.
Daled IV is a world split between two opposing factions. In The Dauphin its rulers from the two sides had died, and their daughter Salia had been raised in secret on another planet so that she could return one day and bring the factions together.
The planet's day and night sides were home to the two peoples, and Salia was meant to rule both. The Enterprise carried Salia and her guardian Anya home to Daled IV, and the voyage ended with her beaming down to take up her role.
