A Starfleet medical facility storing frozen embryos and deadly pathogens, seized by Arik Soong and his Augments.
Cold Station 12 is a remote Starfleet medical facility that stores frozen embryos and samples of dangerous pathogens. Arik Soong once worked there, and by 2154 it is run by Phlox's friend Doctor Jeremy Lucas. Its embryos include hundreds of the genetically engineered Augments that Soong never brought to term.
In Cold Station 12, the Augments board the station using a hijacked Denobulan medical ship and take control. Soong escapes with the embryos, and Malik releases the station's pathogens, leaving Archer and Lucas only minutes to stop them at the start of The Augments.
