American comedian and actor who plays the sardonic engineer Jett Reno in Star Trek: Discovery and Star Trek: Starfleet Academy.
Tig Notaro is an American comedian, writer and actor known for her stand-up specials, the semi-autobiographical series One Mississippi and her role in the film Army of the Dead.
On Star Trek: Discovery she plays Jett Reno, a dry-witted Starfleet engineer introduced in the second season as the survivor of the crashed USS Hiawatha. Reno stayed with the ship into the 32nd century as a fixture of its engineering staff, and Notaro reprised the role in Star Trek: Starfleet Academy.
