American screenwriter who wrote or co-wrote more than thirty Deep Space Nine episodes and later developed the series Andromeda.
Robert Hewitt Wolfe, born in 1964, broke into Star Trek by selling the story for the Next Generation episode A Fistful of Datas in 1992. His screenplay for that episode earned him a place on the writing staff of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, where he stayed through its fifth season.
Wolfe wrote or co-wrote more than thirty episodes in a wide range of styles, from arc-heavy action such as The Way of the Warrior and Call to Arms to character studies like The Wire and Hard Time and comedies such as Little Green Men. He later developed and produced Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda.
