Martin Quinn is a Scottish actor best known for playing Montgomery Scott on Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, becoming the first Scottish actor to portray the character.
Quinn first appeared as Scotty in the second-season finale Hegemony, in which the young engineer helps rescue the Enterprise crew after his own ship is destroyed by the Gorn. He became a regular cast member from the third season, working alongside chief engineer Pelia.
