Australian actor who plays Nurse Christine Chapel in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.
Jess Bush is an Australian actor, model and visual artist who first came to public attention as a contestant on the seventh season of Australia's Next Top Model before moving into acting.
On Star Trek: Strange New Worlds she plays Christine Chapel, a nurse and researcher aboard Captain Pike's Enterprise who works alongside Dr. M'Benga. Bush's lively take on the character, including Chapel's on-off romance with Spock and her experience in the Klingon war, offers a new look at a role originated by Majel Barrett in the original series.
