Brett Gray is an American actor and singer best known for playing Jamal Turner in the Netflix series On My Block.
In Star Trek: Prodigy he voiced Dal R'El, a brash, quick-witted teenager of unknown species who escapes the mining colony Tars Lamora and appoints himself captain of the stolen starship Protostar. Over two seasons Dal grew from a self-styled rogue into a Starfleet cadet, and his mysterious origins became a central thread of the story.
