Bella Shepard is an American actor who joined the main cast of Star Trek: Starfleet Academy as part of the series' class of new cadets.
She plays Genesis Lythe, a Dar-Sha cadet and the daughter of a Starfleet admiral, who is determined to make her own name in Starfleet rather than live in her parent's shadow. Genesis trains alongside Caleb Mir, Jay-Den Kraag, Darem Reymi and SAM in the first new class of cadets in over a century.
