Henry Starling's discovery of the Aeon

Crash of a 29th-century timeship

In 1967 the 29th-century timeship Aeon crashed on Earth, and Henry Starling used its technology to build Chronowerx Industries and drive the computer revolution.

Captain Braxton's timeship Aeon was hurled back to 1967 after a confrontation with Voyager and crashed on Earth, leaving Braxton stranded. Henry Starling found the wreck, kept its technology for himself and reverse-engineered it to found Chronowerx Industries.
Starling's use of future technology fuelled the late twentieth-century micro-computer boom and made him enormously wealthy. By 1996 he was planning to travel into the future to plunder it, a scheme that would have caused a temporal explosion destroying much of the Solar System in the 29th century.
