A year after the Frontier Day attack Starfleet honored the role of the USS Titan in saving Earth by giving it a new name. In 2402 the ship was rechristened as the USS Enterprise-G.
Command went to Seven of Nine, with Raffi Musiker as her first officer and Jack Crusher among the crew. Picard and his old friends saw the ship off, and the Enterprise name passed to a new generation.
