Captured by a bounty hunter, Harry Mudd tries to talk his way out, and the hunter finds a Federation ship already holding several other Mudds.
Harry Mudd, the con man first seen in the original series, is captured by a bounty hunter who plans to collect the reward for him. Mudd tries every trick he knows, from flattery to bribery, to talk his way free on the journey.
When the hunter delivers his prisoner to a Federation ship, he discovers several other Mudds already in custody. It emerges that the real Mudd has been building android copies of himself, using his notoriety to keep the authorities confused about which Mudd is which. The comic short was directed by Rainn Wilson, who plays Mudd, and written by Michael McMahan.
