Leader of the Nol-Ennis, locked with his enemies the Ennis in an unending war on a Gamma Quadrant moon where the dead return to life.
Zlangco leads the Nol-Ennis in Battle Lines. His fighters attack the Ennis caves shortly after Sisko, Kira, Bashir and Kai Opaka arrive on the moon, and like their enemies they are revived by artificial microbes after every death.
Sisko arranges a meeting between Zlangco and the Ennis leader Golin Shel-la in the hope of ending the war, but neither side will give up its hatred and the fighting starts again. Opaka, who can no longer leave the moon, chooses to stay and help both peoples begin to heal.
