An Arkonian pilot who shoots down Trip Tucker and then has to cooperate with him to survive on a moon.
Zho'Kaan is an Arkonian pilot. In Dawn he fires on Trip Tucker's shuttlepod, and both craft crash on a moon in the Arkonian system. The two take each other prisoner in turn before realising that survival is more important than their quarrel.
As the sun rises and the moon becomes lethally hot, Tucker uses parts from both shuttles to contact Enterprise. Meanwhile, Archer persuades the territorial Arkonians to join the search, and the episode becomes a small study in two enemies learning to trust each other.
