The Skorr prince who joins the quest to recover his people's sacred artifact in The Jihad, and is revealed as the one who stole it.
Tchar is the hereditary prince of the Skorr, a bird-like warrior people who were brought to peace by the religious leader Alar. The Soul of Skorr, an artifact holding Alar's brain patterns, has been stolen, and its loss could drive the Skorr into a holy war across the galaxy.
In The Jihad, Tchar joins Kirk, Spock and the other specialists gathered by the Vedala to recover it. The team discovers a saboteur among them, and it proves to be Tchar himself, who stole the artifact in the hope of returning his people to their warrior past. He is taken into custody at the end.
