Andorian lieutenant and lover of Commander Shran, whose death in 2154 set off Shran's duel with Archer.
Talas was a tactical officer serving under Commander Shran aboard the Andorian ship Kumari. She initiated a romance with Shran, who later said he had a choice between arresting her and taking her as his mate, and chose the latter.
In 2154, the Kumari was destroyed by a Romulan drone ship disguised as a Tellarite vessel. Talas was shot during a confrontation with the Tellarite delegation aboard Enterprise in Babel One and died of her wound in United. Grief-stricken, Shran challenged a Tellarite to a ritual duel, in which Archer took the Tellarite's place.
