Female Nacene who left the Caretaker centuries earlier and nurtured a colony of Ocampa, whom she taught to develop their mental powers.
Suspiria was the mate of the Caretaker and, like him, a Nacene. She had left him long ago and took a group of Ocampa with her, caring for them for some 300 years aboard her own array and teaching them to develop the psychokinetic abilities their people otherwise left untapped.
In Cold Fire, Voyager found her colony while searching for her. Blaming the crew for the Caretaker's death, Suspiria demanded that her Ocampa leader Tanis deliver the ship to her, and she attacked Voyager before Kes and the crew were able to end the confrontation.
