The Vulcan whom T'Pring prefers to Spock, and who hopes to win her through the challenge in Amok Time.
Stonn is a Vulcan who wants to marry T'Pring, Spock's betrothed. In Amok Time he attends the marriage ceremony at Spock's family grounds on Vulcan and expects to be chosen as T'Pring's champion when she invokes the challenge.
Instead, T'Pring selects Kirk, reasoning that whatever the outcome, she will end up with Stonn. After the fight, which McCoy secretly ends by faking Kirk's death, Spock releases T'Pring and dryly warns Stonn that having may not prove as pleasing as wanting. Stonn was played by Lawrence Montaigne.
