Sylvia Tilly's demanding and condescending mother, whose call sets the stage for Tilly's decision to help a young stowaway.
Siobhan Tilly is the mother of Sylvia Tilly, seen in the Short Trek Runaway and played by Mimi Kuzyk. At the start of the episode, Tilly has a discussion with her that leaves her feeling belittled, since Siobhan is condescending about her daughter's choices and prospects.
The conversation shapes what follows. When Tilly finds the young Xahean stowaway Po aboard Discovery, she sets aside her habit of simply following orders and makes her own decision to help Po return home in time for her coronation.
