A Starfleet captain and the mother of Geordi La Forge, lost when her ship, the USS Hera, disappeared.
Captain Silva La Forge is a Starfleet officer and the mother of Geordi La Forge. She commanded the starship Hera, which vanishes without a trace, leaving Geordi and his family to accept that she is presumed dead.
In Interface, Geordi uses an experimental probe linked to his VISOR to explore the USS Raman, trapped in a gas giant's atmosphere. There he encounters an image of his mother, which turns out to be an alien life form native to the gas giant using her likeness. Geordi helps the creatures return home and accepts that his mother is gone. She was played by Madge Sinclair.
