Sandrine is the holographic proprietor of Chez Sandrine, the Marseille bistro Tom Paris recreated on Voyager's holodeck.
Sandrine is a holodeck character created by Tom Paris as part of his recreation of Chez Sandrine, a French bistro he had frequented on Earth. Flirtatious and worldly, she presides over a pool hall filled with regulars and became a fixture of the crew's off-duty life during Voyager's early years. Judy Geeson played the role.
She was introduced in The Cloud, when Paris brought Harry Kim to the program and later the senior staff relaxed there after healing the living nebula. Chez Sandrine and its hostess returned in several later episodes as the crew's favorite holodeck gathering place before the program was eventually replaced.
