Vulcan member of the Maquis who tried to buy weapons through Quark and took part in the kidnapping of Gul Dukat.
Sakonna is a Vulcan who has joined the Maquis, the Federation colonists fighting Cardassian rule in the Demilitarized Zone. She approaches Quark to arrange what she calls a business deal, which turns out to be an attempt to acquire a large supply of weapons, and she helps a group of colonists kidnap Gul Dukat from Deep Space Nine.
In The Maquis, Sakonna tries to mind-meld with Dukat, who easily resists her. Quark eventually talks her into revealing to Benjamin Sisko that the Maquis are planning to destroy a Cardassian weapons depot within days.
