Sakkath was a young Vulcan aide who secretly used his own mental strength to help Sarek mask the effects of his illness.
Sakkath served as an assistant to Ambassador Sarek in Sarek, on the mission to conclude the Legaran negotiations. As Sarek began to lose emotional control because of Bendii syndrome, unexplained fights and outbursts broke out among the Enterprise crew.
Sakkath had been trying to channel his own mental discipline into Sarek to help him hold his feelings in check, but the pressure of the conference overwhelmed him. Data drew the truth from him, which helped Crusher and Picard understand what was happening. Rocco Sisto played him.
