Ron Docent is a USS Vancouver lieutenant commander who tries to swap places with a Cerritos crew member to escape his ship's dangerous missions.
Ron Docent is a human lieutenant commander aboard the USS Vancouver, a state-of-the-art ship that undertakes epic and dangerous assignments. In Cupid's Errant Arrow, he gives Rutherford and Tendi a tour of the vessel and then demands that one of them transfer to the Vancouver after a brief competitive exercise, which leads to a scuffle.
Docent eventually admits that he cannot cope with the constant peril aboard his own ship. He had hoped to swap places with one of the Cerritos officers so that he could serve on a more ordinary vessel. He was voiced by Matt Walsh.
