An Akaali apothecary who helps Archer expose an alien operation poisoning her town.
Riann runs an apothecary in an Akaali city and has noticed that many residents are falling ill. In Civilization she first confronts the disguised away team near a curio shop, and Archer persuades her that he is an investigator from another city.
Together they watch the shop at night and discover that the Malurian Garos is mining a veridium isotope beneath it, contaminating the water. Archer gives Riann the antidote for her people, and the two share a mutual attraction before Enterprise departs, with Archer assuring her that the Vulcans will keep the Malurians away.
